Integrated Core Handbook
Print Publication Design | Central Michigan University – CBA
The Integrated Core is a foundational course for business students at CMU, combining several disciplines into one cohesive learning experience. When the College of Business Administration approached me with their course handbook, it existed only as a dense, unformatted Word document, one that left students and faculty struggling to navigate essential information.
My role was to transform this content into a well-structured, visually accessible printed handbook. I reorganized the material into a clear, intuitive layout, highlighting key assignments, timelines, and course components to guide students through the semester with ease. The final design not only brought clarity to the coursework but also gave the program a polished, professional tool that could be handed out with confidence.
To protect the university’s materials, I also created a custom CMU CBA watermark, a subtle but effective branding element that made it easier to track and prevent unauthorized use when digital copies began appearing on external websites.
This project was a rewarding exercise in turning chaos into clarity, and a great example of how design can add both structure and value to educational experiences.

ERPsim Competition
Event Materials Design | Central Michigan University – CBA
ERPsim is a fast-paced business simulation competition hosted annually at Central Michigan University, where students apply ERP software skills in a real-time, competitive environment. Through the College of Business Administration, I designed a range of event materials to support both the logistics and branding of the competition.
My favorite piece from this project was the trifold brochure, a compact, carry-friendly guide that visitors and competitors used throughout the event. It featured clearly marked seating charts, team tables, a general schedule, and highlights like keynote speakers and networking sessions. I made it a priority to create a piece that felt unique to the ERPsim experience, while still staying true to CMU’s brand assets and visual identity. This balance helped the brochure stand out while maintaining a cohesive look with other university materials.
Designing for ERPsim challenged me to merge functionality with creativity. Seeing attendees rely on the brochure throughout the day was a rewarding reminder of how thoughtful design can quietly enhance an entire event experience.

Graphic Designer | College of Business Administration
Central Michigan University | 2023–Present
For nearly two years, I’ve worked as a graphic designer for CMU’s College of Business Administration, creating a wide range of materials, from pennants, t-shirts, and stickers to social media graphics, event displays, and promotional pieces. Each project has given me the opportunity to bring the college’s identity to life across both digital and print formats.
Beyond design, this role has been a hands-on education in the behind-the-scenes work that makes creative projects successful. I’ve gained experience in print production, learned how to organize and manage content using Microsoft Teams, Excel, and shared servers, and developed strong communication skills for working across departments and meeting tight deadlines.
This position has also deepened my technical abilities in the Adobe Creative Suite and strengthened my understanding of photography as both a creative and functional tool. It’s been a meaningful step in my development, not just as a designer, but as a thoughtful, collaborative creative professional.
