Motion Graphics | Experimental Short
This 30-second lyric video was an early dive into motion graphics, created as a visual companion to Firestarters by Sawyer Hill. The goal was to translate the song’s energy into animated visuals, bringing lyrics and abstract ideas to life through movement, timing, and design.
Rather than just animating text, I leaned into experimenting with graphics that described the song’s actions, pouring gas, fire igniting, motion building, turning static imagery into something that felt alive. It was a space to play, learn, and explore how music, rhythm, and visuals can work together to tell a story.
As one of my first motion pieces, this project taught me how even simple animations can carry mood and meaning. It opened up a whole new way of thinking about design, not just as something seen, but something felt through time and motion.
