Logo & Poster Design
The National Forensic Association (NFA) National Speech Competition is a prestigious event that brings together college-level speakers from across the country. I was tasked with creating a logo and poster design that would reflect the mission of the event, highlighting communication and connection.
Finding a visual representation of speech was a thoughtful, exploratory process. I experimented with abstract forms and typography to capture the feeling of voice and projection without relying on literal imagery like microphones or speech bubbles. The final design emphasized clarity and energy, creating a modern yet grounded identity that reflected the purpose of the competition.
The assets I created were used across a wide range of materials, including event booklets, stickers, t-shirts, name tags, and more. Each application extended the identity while keeping it cohesive and recognizable.
